APA, Rates & Availability

Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA)

The APA is an advance allowance paid by the charterer in addition to the charter fee. It is used by the captain to cover the yacht’s running and charter-related expenses during the charter, which may include fuel, food and beverages, port and marina fees, local cruising costs and other applicable expenses.

The captain keeps an account of expenditure throughout the charter. Any unused balance is returned to the charterer at the end of the charter, while additional funds may be requested during the charter if the APA is insufficient.

Rates & additional costs

The rates shown throughout this selection are the rates available in the supplied yacht data and are presented for comparison purposes. Additional costs can include VAT, APA, delivery or relocation fees, berthing, cruising expenses and other yacht-specific charges.
